Alexander Barron, Chief Executive Officer
Alexander Barron has a thorough knowledge of the inner workings of Marina Medical. He began his career with Marina in 1999, managing compliance related issues. From there, he expanded his scope of responsibilities to include sales, marketing, new business development, and is now CEO of Marina Medical. He is driven to provide the “ultimate Marina Experience” to his customers and employees
Jeff Schiller, Director of Sales and Marketing
Maestro of all things related to sales & marketing, Jeff Schiller orchestrates sales & marketing activities, promotions, customer relations, keeps the staff on schedule and is Marina Medical’s general problem solver. Jeff has an Undergraduate (BS) degree from the University of Florida and a Masters Degree (MBA) from Nova Southeastern University.
Ben Moses, General Manager
Ben Moses is the General Manager for Marina Medical. He is Marina’s in-house bioengineer. Working with surgeons, he helps to design, develop and bring to market some of the innovative products you’ll find at Koume and Marina Medical.
Ben travels to domestic and international conferences in order to interface with customers and better understand their needs. If you have any technical or regulatory questions related to Marina Medical’s products, Ben is your “go-to guy”. Ben received his Masters and Bachelors of Biomedical Engineering from the University of Miami.
Laura Hucaluk, Chief Financial Officer
Laura “Huc” Connell is Marina Medical’s CFO. She is responsible, among many other things, for the overall financial health of the company. She took the position as CFO in 2010 when Marina Medical’s founder, and her mentor, Anthony Zinnanti passed away. Prior to being the company’s CFO, she held various positions with the company, including conventions coordinator, warehouse clerk, data entry specialist, administrative assistant, office manager, and account manager.
Scott Schiller, Senior Account Manager
Scott Schiller is the Senior Account Manager for Marina Medical. He interfaces with Marina’s US-based distributors and hospitals. Scott worked side-by-side with Marina Medical’s founder, Anthony Zinnanti, and was fortunate to learn the ins and outs of surgical instrumentation from the Master himself.
